joe it was great hangin with ya maybe next year will drive together!!!!!
Cool trip next year I am headed to LSR.
Thanks for the pics man! next year...next year...
love all the road trip coverage. The pic with grandma is tops!
You drove right through where I live in the Littlefield/Muleshow TX area....that's the same why I went to the roundup too. I laughed pretty hard when I saw the goat cook off sign....I also thought the sign in Roundup, Tx would make a good photo op, but lame in the new truck. Maybe next year we can get a group to go from lubbock to austin.
Wish I'd known you all were passing through town.., would have like to have met you all. I live about 1 mile southeast of where your picture was taken. Fort Sumner... Sorry about the ticket incident. Yeah, it does tend to be a County Sheriff legalized fund raiser event, around noon and school letout. It bothers me that they have set the speed limit at 15pmh on US60, while it is 20mph in Clovis on more congested streets.. 15 mph is a crawl...GGrrr!
I will look for the listing in the paper for your ticket.. We do have problems with a lot of Texas cars and SUVs out here.. they like to drive fast and get this part of New Mexico over with..
Looks like you all had a great trip... Enjoyed your photos...duane (NM Sandrail)..
Kool pic's Great story thanks
Excellent! I was lost in your story for 30 min! It was like I was there.
Sweet, thanks for sharing the great pics and wonderful story line. I was totally there with you guys, I had a blast.
Sorry to hear about the hub cap Randy. I am always impressed by amount of miles you put on the Grapevine. We miss seeing that car over here in Eugene. Keep putting those miles on!
That was funny as shit.
Thanks for the story!
BTW what's the skinny on that blown Nash Metropolitan?
great story. but now i really want to hear about what happened in lubbock...
also, have you ever had to change a rear flat on that thing? what's that like...?
awsome read...pics were great also ...
That was better than funny, that was HYSTERICAL! I'm still laughing at inappropriate times about it.
You should have called doofus and I'd of taken you thru some killer Texas back roads.
Great story and pics... Nothing beats a good road trip in an old car. You never know what is in store. Very cool you guys came all the way to Texas. Hope to get to make it to Cali. this year.
