Event Coverage 2011 MELTDOWN DRAGS -VINTAGE DRAG MEET- July 23-Byron, IL

It is official, Gasser Wars Magazine is printing an article with pictures. I talked to them today!

 

I'm biased, but I thought the Abomination and High Anxiety looked great together.

 

Don't forget that one of our club members has a 64 Dodge. We didn't even make it close to getting it together this year. Might be able to run it next year.

It will be altered 2% with engine relocation. 440 chrysler with weiand log 6x2

 

Nova, Chevelle, Zettle Falcon, and Bob's Hemi AWB is 4....can we find 2 more for 3 great match races?

If i can up the power a bit id be game

 

BrickTopp....up the power a little...but honestly, it is just as much about getting the pics at the starting line as the actual race....the spectators just LOVED seeing these cars....We hope you can make it for 2012....

 

O I know. I don't think I'd be able to keep up for a good match. I can honestly say there has not been one bad thing said to me about the meltdown. I really wish I was able to make it. I'm planning on 2012

 

Or just put on a set of sticky tires and a set of steep gears

Jogyver bent up all the pieces for me... but I haven't had time to get out to the garage to tear things down so we can finish the rebuild. Between planning the Pileup and parenthood, I haven't had time! But I'm hoping it will all be back together soon... better than ever. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. Better than he was before. Stronger. Faster. The 6 Million Dollar Van.
