2010 hamb drags date ?

Can someome tell me the date for 2010 hamb drags (mokan) Need to put in for vacation. Thanks

 

I'd be interested in this information as soon as it becomes available too. It's the end of Aug I'm sure but there are two different Saturdays that I think it could be.

 

is it the same weekend as the Springfield MO swap meet?

 

Usually it falls on the same weekend but I don't think Ryan or Carl base the HAMB Drags on the Springfield swap. It's "probably" going to be Saturday Aug 21st but until Ryan says that's the date I'm not making any plans.

August 20,21 and 22nd 2010
Free to the public
"The Biggest in Missouri" with 1600 Vendor Spaces
Gates open to the public at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm

Location: Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri
Interstate 44 & Highway 13 Exit; turn onto Norton Road​

I say lets have TWO HAMB Drags per year at Mo-Kan......one in the spring PLUS the one in August! Yeah baby!

I dont mean to ask a stupid question but I am brand new to this site. Where in Missouri is the Hamb drags at? This sounds like something I would like to attend!

barnfind 56 it's not to hard to find ,it's in asbury,MO just alittle ways from joplin. gone 2 years now and it's a great time. would be great to meet some people from iowa there. can't wait to go , we set our vacation so we can spend some time there then continue to other locals.
the get together at the host motel is a great time the night before and there's alot of nice people there,along with alot of nice rides.
if everything goes good i;ll be able to take my handyman wagon this year.

dang it two hamb drags a year..,.. now we're talkin' !!
really would like to know the dates, because we like to go to the frog follies in evansville indiana (august 27th-28th & 29th) and the HAMBS,
skipped the frog follies two years ago, because the dates were the same..
anywho, please let me know the date as soon as possible.. , i really,really hope it's the 21st, so i can do both !!

MO-KAN drag strip is located on the Kansas/Missou border in Asbury MO. about half way between Joplin , MO and Pittsburg , KS.

 

Hoping it is the 21st! If you have to preregister to spectate mark me down LOL! Oh, and the wifey too. I think all of us HAMBers should also have name tags, and different ones for us Alliance members. Just a thought.
