2007 resolutions, got one?

My New Year's resolution/s.
Get the Model-A running.
To use the shift key and start my sentences with CAPITAL letters.
To post more progress pics and a couple tech. posts. Even if they do end up sucking!

1. Get my shoebox in some sort of paint and on the road.
2. Have a rolling chassis for my pickup by April.

smoke a little more, drink a little more and just raise more hell than in '06

 

Hell I've got 18 that I wrote in 2005! didn't get one crossed off so I'm rollin' em over for another year.........Jim

Stay focused on my relationship with the Lord and put God first in everything i do, think and say ...and also make HIM more of a priority in my life on a daily basis

2. drive my 49 chevy 900 miles to Portland Oregon to visit HAMBER dondanno so he stops bitching about when I'm coming up. maybe get some free upholstry work while I'm there.

 

Do some tech post, add info to the hamb. I have gotten so much from here I need to give more back!!!!

 

Finish the '57 Buick"roadster"

Put the 50 Fleetline on the road

Redo the '51 Business coupe

Drive the 30 A coupe on August 11,2007

The rest as it comes....LOL

 

Get a job.
Get a good woman.
Get enough parts to get started on building a modified.
Get a cherry 65 Rivi given to me.
Get right arm's sleeve finished.

 

Be a better more understanding person than in '06. Try to see the other person's point better. I will work harder at these things. Cars will come and go but what is most important are your family and friends.

 

finish the '36, get another car.....................oh yea try to make my stupid temp job my stupid permanent job.

 

to stay sober for the second year ,aint so bad.

 

Well, last year my resolution came true...twice (to get tattooed)

This year, my first resolution is to have a new ride by the end of January.

Th second, is to either make it to te Cinematic, or the Hunnert Car Pile-up, or both.

Those are the first two that come to mind. -Joe

 

I start drawing Social Security in Feb.

I vow to plunk it all on my mortgage instead of toys. If I do this, I'll be paid off in 29 payments vs 70. I have never outright owned a house, and I want soooo badly to have a "burn the mortgage" party.

 

Get the 55 to the next level or 2 drive the shit out of it and make plans for the big motor for next year.More sex,booze, having fun and quit driving a damn truck for a living

 

1. Have something classic on the road, running and driving this year! (hopefully my 52 Chevy Pickup)
2. Sell this stupid Ford Focus I have as a daily driver.
3. Get my motorcycle project running.
4. Attend the Back to the 50's show in St. Paul

 

find the electric problem in my 57

 

1. To spend more time with my family- there are some days I dont even see my son awake.
2. To start the wife's 60 Olds- had it sandblasted and want to work more on it.
3. To take more care of myself- see #1
Thats it for now beuz I think I can reach these goals.
4. To remember to give back EVERY day.

 

1. Keep making my shop into the best joint in Columbia
2. Finish all my personal projects: Re-do my Evo Chop, finish my CB550 Cafe Racer, sell my 1967 Cadillac, get my new 1964 Econoline on the road.
3. Get my club off the ground and host our first show this summer.
4. Give every dumb ass I run into a real hard time.

 

1. finish my models
2. not be so lazy
3. work on the model A
4. finish the lincoln
5. go to one or two out of state carshows

Selling some projects!!!

 

I've sold my house, should be closing here pretty soon..I resolve; buy an Airstream so I'll always have a place to live..not completely piss away the money on cars,car parts, debauchery and all my other pipe dreams, maybe even help somebody else out less fortunate than me.......amen

I'd like to do the same as Coupe-De-CAB and get closer to God, also put more then bullets on my T-Birds licenses plate and call my car a KUSTOM!!!

I resolve to be kinder and gentler in 2007.

For instance, I already resisted telling the guy who wanted to know how to make a truck that he spent hours and days on making it lower, narrower, shorter and cooler look like he drug it out of the woods what a STUPID idea that is.

And to make my Olds an example of why cars look so much better clean and shiny.

 

Get the wagon road worthy, get the '54 Chrysler back together and finish the chop on it. Try to make it to 'Paso this year. KNUX!
