Hey Malcolm, I'll be there for a while or until I start sticking to the blacktop again. Last year was silly hot. Be driving the 60 unless it sells at the swap meet this weekend. Gary

Got the radiator in, havent checked for leaks yet. I can do that on the way to Lincoln!

My buddy jess and I will becoming down to Omaha from Ames IA Thursday and staying through Sunday. I am driving My 54 Chevy PU and he's driving his 50 chevy coupe. We will have to get together when you come up for goodguys des moines.

Took the coupe out tonight , tried out the (new) radiator, worked great. I went to a little show tonight also . Saw the speedkings were out, didnt get to hang out much though. I hope to hang with Matt and the boys in Lincoln?
I had to tear out of there, the Road was begging to be Burned.

I didnt make it to the Fifties, cant wait till the Americruise!

I plan to go which of course means something will come up that will keep me from actually being able to go.
The party on the 29th sounds fun. Get Hatman on that!

 

Look out Roadburners, I should be back home by then, Just love soaking up the sun down here in Az land, Jeff your wheels would just melt into the ground, I don't know how they do it here. I'm planning on going to the gathering down here on Sat afternoon.

I don't have any pictures of the new ride except the ones I took before I started "screwing it all up" (what the old folks I bought it from call it)

Maybe that could be sort of fun. . . I'll just post one of the old pictures and people can guess when they get to Lincoln.

Dan, that Olds looks good sitting that low. Hey Jeff, that thing looks way better now that you have started screwing it up.
Looks like no one has an excuse to not get out there and run their rides on the course. Heck if your tires hold air and it runs, ya gotta be there! Hell, last year I didnt have a charging system. I drove there and made countless laps on the battery alone . You dont have to run it out the back door or run the bearings out of it, just get outta the lawn chair!! trust me it is fun!
