Hot Rods 2 strombergs on 230 flathead 6??

Hey dudes, I recently got a 52 dodge with the original 230 flathead 6. I acquired 2 brand new strombergs from a buddy of mine in trade and started hooking them up today, I noticed there's no vacuum port on the carbs, but I need to hook up my vacuum advance on the distributor somewhere. Any ideas? Can I use manifold vacuum or is that not a good idea?

You can certainly use manifold vacumn,just drill and tap a hole wherever on the manifold it suits you.Use 1/8" pipe thread and find or make a barb type fitting to fit your advance hose.
