I plan on going to the swap on Friday the 24th, so on the 25th at this time I plan on hearing the sweet music of internal combustion engines echoing off the cornfields in Asbury Missouri.
Sounds like a good year...............lets hope it doesn't get dry like year one...........................grassfire across the road...............
I've been the last 2 years and it's rained both times. Although the first year was just a little shower Friday nite. Last year was a deluge Saturday nite LOL.
you know its gonna be washed out when Noah is staging a 45 woodie with two of each critter as his pit crew . . . altho there WERE some hot lookin babes at the summer hummer dance when me an CrazyD crashed the place on our way through the pool area to get more beer outta the car long story... reserved for thursday nights warm up bash n' blowout
Hey Guys, any word on when registration will start? I've had my room reserved for a couple of months now. Poncho
I would think once Ryan and crew get home from the Cinematic (which is this weekend) and the dust settles a bit, we will see some action.
HAHA. You gettin' that '57 ready for the trip St. Nick? Put some exhaust on that 6 popper? I think you and I need to match up for a jaunt down the 1320...
Ummm....I KNOW that's not a Chevvie motor.... Good luck making teh Drags. Every year I see you I have to remind myself that you drive all teh damn way from New York. I'll save you a beer. -Abone.
WTF? What the hell is that "thing" between the heads of your 350 "corporate" Pontiac engine? It looks like fuel injection or sumthun, Bil. BTW, PM me your new e-mail address. Your old one wore out or else you got sick of me sending you un-funny jokes.. Rocky
Technically it's an 87 Firebird TPI w/7004r. Don't short change yourself. You haul from just as far... and haul ass doing so. You're still the man! ...and the Caddy rear is in too. PM sent. Full tours being given in the Ramada parking lot. All I gotta do is: -wire up everything -do the fuel system -wire in a fan -make a throttle set up -exhaust -and not forget anything Yeah, thrash is more like it Bil
One of these years I will have something worthy to bring and run, as for now, I'm just happy to go hang out with the real rodders... like an ugly girl at the prom, I'm just happy to be there.
It's been raining here for the last 30 days. I hope everything is dried out by then. The temps are supposed to be below normal for OK and MO. for the month of July. Maybe we can get lucky this year and it will stay under 100 in August.
Almost at the 1 month count-down. Still got a bunch of stuff left. This picture was taken such a long time ago when it seems that things were running smoothly. Ahh yes... it was only a few months ago when I thought this rebuild would only last a week or so. So foolish and naive was I. It's looking like I might have to include the shake-down run, into the trip to MoKan! Hey, Rocky! Does my rear look phat to you?
