    I like the '55 Chevy too. In Jan. of '74 I sat in a '65 Cobra SC with 5000 miles on it. It was at a used car lot for $9000. I could retire right now if I had bought it! Shoulda woulda coulda.

    Yup...absolutely.

    In the late '60s as a kid, I always grabbed the classifieds from the Sunday paper, and looked specifically for '32 Fords. I remember seeing them for $1,500. High end was $3,000 - $3,500. I remember thinking, "I'm gonna get me one of these when I get a little older and make some money." Yeah right. By the time I graduated high school in '75, the prices were near 10 times those amounts.

    I had the same opportunity to buy a 427 Cobra in the late 1960's. It was going to be my daily and I couldn't see it. Bought a Corvette instead. The cobra was cramped, had a rag top, and it was loud.
