I have a 1967 Plymouth Fury with a "72 Plymouth 318 engine and the point type ignition system. Can I install a later style Mopar ignition set up like from a "73 or later with the module and 4 prong ballast resistor and will the later distributor with pickup coil fit the existing engine? Thank you for any info.

Yes you can and it works great! You can get the whole kit cheap through mail order or mopar performance
