  4. Finally! About 8 hours of work, reprinting needles, cleaning gauge faces, resetting odometer, new lens, paint and assembly! I don't want to do one of these for a while! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400466850.050941.jpg

NICE WORK!!! Looks like new, is there anything you haven't touched? lol..I had a 65' 202 for years, wish I kept it..Curious question; did the Cyclone come with the dual scoop hood or was it an option? I only saw one Cyclone back in the day [when they were new] and it had the dual scoop hood....

Oh,Mike....That car is just absolutely gorgeous!
That color just looks like a million bucks, the motor is absolutely beautiful, and the interior just looks like it popped out of a Lincoln/Mercury dealer's showroom in November of '64..!

You have really out done yourself on this one Brother!:D

    Nice work...!

    Scott

Your doing a great job Mike, really nice to see! I like your inspiration notes on the chalkboard, kids just grow up to fast.....Al

  10. Thank you everyone, it is definitely a team effort with my dad. Seb there was actually 3 options in 65 for a hood, the flat, dual snorkel and duel reversed vents (which are pretty rare). We got the brakes bled, suspension tightened, seats installed and took it for a spin around the block. Drives suuuuper smooth, much better than I could have hoped. The shifting is nice and tight as well. Got a little something special in the mail today. I can't believe these will actuall be on the car, I am really excited. Mike;looks great! How was the headliner today? ROY.

  20. It was alright, stuck up there long enough to get the windows in. The back window seal was a piece of junk, ever had to cut one before?? Check out the pictures to see how oversized it was!

Mike;I see you found the clips for the rocker trim!! It looks like you have the antenna base turned 180 out,low point should be towards the top of the fender, long point in the low point, antenna should be straight up.Paint looks good!! ROY.

  30. That's the only way the antennae fits
