    Hey Everyone,

This is my first post, I know this prob has been talked about a bunch, but I want to know how much I should spend on a power steering kit and have it installed?

    Thanks!!

It's Chevytalk.com - Brokenspoke left out the "y", but he is right there is a lot of info on there. I did it on my 66 Chevy PU. I got a plate to mount between the PS unit and the frame that REZ Engineering makes (bought it from Classic Performance Parts-they have a lot of tech info). Take the plate with you to the auto parts place and find a mid 80's Chevy (I think I used a Camero) unit that the bolt holes match up with the plate. You will have to drill one hole in your frame for the plate and cut, shorten and weld your steering shaft. There may be some pic's of what I did on this website - Look for Kathy's Albumn www.texaswheelers.com
    Good luck!
