I have a friend who is working on a Thunderbolt clone and the car needs lower quarters...anyone have any idea what(if any) patch panels are available for these cars? Trunk floor isnt to great either... Thanks
Somone makes, or did make fiberglass rear partial quarters. Trunk floor? it is the gas tank if I remember correctly
There is a few companies that are making the fiberglass front ends . Patch 1/4 panels can be bought on line . Have you done a Goggle search for them yet ? Try EMS . RetroJim
Hopefully this link will work -- Autokrafters lists some sheet metal: http://www.autokrafters.com/v4/go.g...=2100&yearId=1964&&ACESSearch=1&product=27791 Malcolm
The lower rear quarters aren't that bad to make. Just a big long softly rolled piece. If you find decent ones though, please post.
He knew about the glass quarters, but wants to stay with steel, it doesnt have the gastank/trunkfloor set up like the Mustangs...kinda surprised me actually!
autokarfters, dearborn classics, mac's and Crites Restoration all carry the floor pans. unfortunately, no one has metal rear quarter replacement panels. You will need to make your own or used good panels from a donor car. http://critesrestoration.com/ http://dearbornclassics.com/ http://www.autokrafters.com/ http://www.macsautoparts.com/
+1 Crites on the glass front clip and bumpers. Check ebay they have floor pans and there was a guy who chopped up a fairlane and was sellin all the metal trunk an stuff. Check Mac's I thought they had replacement metal.
