  1. Yes I have all the stuff from opentrackerracing for the 1965 stuff. All rollerized withe the Shelby quick steer and Shelby drop. My 1964 power steering box has the 1” selector shaft, so it will work with the Shelby pitman arm.. yours looks awesome. That things is clean

In 1973 I put a '69 Mustang 351W 4V in my OT '70 Maverick. I used Maverick 302 exhaust manifold on driver's side and Mustang 289 manifold on passenger side. I had to shave casting numbers off the Mustang manifold to get it in. Did not modify the shock towers any. The Maverick engine compartment was probably a little larger than the earlier Falcon/Comets. Before the 351, I had a 289 in it with Hooker Headers made for the Maverick. Ron

That sure looks nice. Am back on the 5sp swap after the lockdown has been somewhat unlocked here in Austria, hope to finish the hard work this week or next by which time the propshaft should be done... Oh and the blue car is Roger Wills' one which he races in the UK and sometimes Europe, has 400 hp 289 and is as fast as the fastest cars in his class even on those twisty tracks we have here.

Well the next time I'm in the UK I'll have a look under the hood if I get the chance. If the car is done to FIA Historic GT rules then it will be a 5 bolt one although internals and carburation would be essentially free provided you don't go stupid with stroking. So 400 hp on a full race engine using modern materials and knowledge is not imaginary I think.

Much progress. Am very envious - nice when you have your own garage;). I work from a friend's workshop (that is, his business) so dependent on availability of space. COVID-19 did not help either. But I'm getting to the point where the box and driveshaft are fitted and if I'm lucky I may be able to have a driving car towards the end of next week...

  19. Some updates seeing what Ana luminous panel looks like in the back, I think it will be cool, starting to fill in the side trim and antenna hole and getting the trunk cleaned up
