I am a huge fan of the first gen Riviera and i have found one finally that is a project and in my price range. It is registered as a 65 and is has all the characteristics of a 65. The 65 bumper with the tail lights, there are no fake scoops behind the doors, from the pics i received from the seller, i cant tell the motor or if the interior is 64 or 65. The issue is, it has a 64 front end. Double headlights in the grill and im not sure if the fenders are 64 or 65. (I dont know what to look for) I was told by a not so reliable source, that there was a split year possibly, early 65 with a 64 front end? Has anyone ever heard of this?
