Lowered price!!! This is a 63 Comet Coupe, only 9400 were made. It was a factory v8 car. Has original 8" rear end. 302/t5. The long block I bought used, it was "freshened up" before I got it - rings, bearings - its got a "thumper" cam, new high volume oil pump, new front sump pan, timing chain. Transmission was also gone through and freshened up. It's a little rattly, but runs good. Lot of new parts - Ford Motorsport balancer Centech wiring harness CSRP front disc brakes Modern driveline hydraulic clutch High torque starter Champion aluminum radiator Electric fan, Flexalite I think.... Mallory unilite water pump, timing chain, oil pump Sanderson headers Aeromotive fuel system 3 duece setup, done right with proper bases custom made air cleaner Flowmaster exhaust gas tank front coil springs, perches, upper and lower control arms, shocks. rear leafs and shocks. New carpet Dash pad tires and wheels Subframe connectors Probably more.....lots of little stuff for sure. Glass is mostly good, windshield has a little haze, a couple chips, and crack on the edge. Passenger side quarter window was replaced with plastic at some point. The trim is all there and in pretty good shape. Bumpers are there, not in the greatest of shape but possibly can be straightened? Seats are from a 65 (I think) mustang, factory center console. Not much more to the interior - no headliner, door panels are wasted. Body is overall in pretty good shape, but needs attention. Previous owner put in bondo - under the quarter windows, quarter panels and bottom of the fenders. Looks like it has a spray can paint job, looks okay from across the street. There is some rust under the battery tray and in the trunk along the quarters. Considereing its 50+ years old its in excellent shape, but if you're looking for a perfect rust free body, this isn't it. It'll need some work. But if you're looking for a pretty cool old hotrod that runs good, always starts, doesn't get hot, and gets lots of looks, this is it.
I know this isn't really the site/forum for it, but i use to have a pro street chevy vega back in the day, and I'd like to have another, so possible trades for a vega!!
