I basically just bought a '63 Galaxy 2 door and it's already primed and ready for paint,so I want to see some custom paint schemes on these to get some ideas. Post any if you have some. Thanks.
not a galaxy but heres a pic of a 63 country sedan I did for my uncle..all the chrome was shaved and it was lowered with supremes before he sold it,I never did get to finish painting it but you get the idea
The one I made the deal on is more of a box top,so I'm thinking early '63,but these are still inspiration.
What you have is called a boxtop, while the one pictured is called a 63 1/2 amid year change. I think the boxtops look awsome slammed, lake pipes, scallops.
WOW....crazy seeing all those old pics. the red car is the same one, just different paint jobs. the teal one is tom mcdonalds, it is without the fade now and astros and bellflowers,i'll try to post more pics of mine later.
I have some as screensavers that I will try to put up. Do a google image search every once and a while, some neat stuff pops up on occasion.
Any more?The reason is because I sold the Caddy and bought a '63 Galaxie,going to pick it up next weekend.Everything is done except for the easy stuff and paint.Looking for paint ideas.
No body mods here but it is a custom color. I get a lot of compliments on the car. It just turned 72K miles.
