This is not your Grandma's 63 Impala. It has received a full nut and bolt frame off restoration. It has only 400 miles on it since completion. It is painted Ermine White base coat/clear coat with no imperfections what so ever and is show quality. No dents, dings, scratches, nicks or chips. The frame is painted black and the floor pans are painted red oxide like it came from the factory. The 15" steel wheels are painted white and have dog dish caps. The original bumpers, grill, head light bezels, eye brows, vent window frames, rear horse shoes, trunk trim and more have been rechromed. The rechroming bill alone was over $7,500. The entire brand new black interior is from Cars, Inc. and has been professionally installed. It has a Vintage Air Sure Fit Gen lV system heat/air/defrost which utilizes the original controls with wires rather then cables and blows ice cold. The glass has no chips, scratches or cracks. There is a dual master cylinder, front disc brakes and rear drums. The engine is original to the car its a 327 300 HP which is confirmed by the engine identification stampings, VIN number and Suffix Code. The engine has been bored .060 with TRW domed forged pistons, Fuelie double hump heads with 202 valves, Headers, Balanced, Comp Cams XE262H cam, lifters and valve springs, Holley 670 CFM Street Avenger carburetor. It runs cool A/C on or off with an aluminum radiator, shroud and engine driven fan. The transmission is an M 21 close ratio four speed with the correct dental pic shifter. The rear end is a 3.73 Positraction. The mufflers are Flow Master 40's. This car sounds bad in a good way idling with a definite lope and ground pounding exhaust. Really sounds like a hard hitter through the mufflers. I'm sure I've left some things out. The car keeps getting better and better as more finishing touches are added.
