Thats awesome! I can't believe how cool this is going to be. I wonder how the spectators will react.
Just whose car is being chopped?????? Hmmmm????????
its top secret information goose.....sheesh hahahaha
Thats cool! Who is the lucky Choppee?
That is the coolest thing Ive ever here'd in my intire life.
We're volunteering your sedan Tracy.
I am pumped Winfield will be there and you can't get any better than just having him there but doing what he does best, customizing.
I heard it was Naomi's Neon.
What is the schedule for the chop? Will he be starting Friday or Saturday?
This weekend is going to be so Damn Cool, Can it get much better?
Gene will have a booth in Hall C of the Marsh South Pavilion. Southeast corner of the building.
When he is not working on the car he will man his booth
We are working on the schedule this week.
Right now we are leaning towards only marking the car on Friday night.
Top will come off during the day on Sat. Go back on Sat afternoon.
Finish up on Sunday afternoon.
CHECK BACK HERE FOR ANY SCHEDULE CHANGES!!!!
That would be interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing all of you guys and the cars that we don't normally get to see here in "Naptown".
man - I wish I could be there this year........I hate that KC and Indy are on the same weekend. Road Rockets always make that one of the best indoor scenes of ALL the shows I get to go to from all over the country.
I couldnt believe that they were expanding even more!
That is amazing
I am sure it will run smoothly and I hope everyone realizes how special it is that Gene is there.
Planning on being there! It does help that my son lives in Indy and the grandma gets to see the grandkids.
I hate it that KC is the same weekend too. El Tiki will be in KC and I have friends in KC to visit but have to stay in Indy :-(...
Our promoter has been so easy to work with and always comes through for us. Most anything we have asked for we have gotten.
Anyone know of a car hauler to take my A from Beech Grove to the fairgrounds? PM me if you know someone.
Car hauler?? What's that? Drive em in!
We are in town for Dealer Expo, so we are going to go to the WOW on Friday nite. It will be me my dad and my brother. Look forward to meeting you guys.
We will be out there all weekend as we have a car in the Motorrama, stop by and say hi, we won't be had to find just look for the bright shinny spot (T-Buckey dripping in chrome) just about evertbody knows it. lol lol
John, don't you think my car could use a hair cut????
A few of us are still planning on driving up Saturday morning unless we get a lot more snow.
I'll be there!!
sweet titties....taking a lil break from the caddy....see yall in a couple days
I haven't met an old car yet that couldn't use a good wack or diet......

We are heading up from Tennessee early Saturday morning...First time at the show..Looking forward to being there.....
A few pics from the show (Please keep in mind that I am not a professional photographer)....
While I really liked the parkwood, I LOVED what it had to say on the back glass. I even used it to create my new signature...
Our 32 Chopped Coupe gets alot of looks and alot of pics and even a few arguments amoung friends with the Larson valve covers....
Lots of history with this roadster...
A few more...
Cant forget Von Dust's DeSoto...
...or Phil Hobb's T
Loved this '36...
A couple of our re-creation of the Roadster when it was given away in 51...
More on its transformation here....
Most Traditional Award went to this beautiful 34. Like our roadster it has been in the same family since '53...
We were fortunate enough to take Best Engine award for the Ardun in the Mercury...
Donrodin's Model A was my choice for the Bronson Memorial Award...
Peoples Choice went to Steve Anderson's American Graffiti replica...
Congratulations to All!
There are a TON of photos at the link just below.
Go to the 1962 Indy Motorama folder for most of the cars that were in that portion of the show. Go to the 2010 Indy World of Wheels folder for the cars that were in those rooms (Don't be afraid, there were some really nice rods and customs over there too!)
