So time back I saw a photoshop or sketch on here of an cab forward pickup or van done with a 60s GM pickup. I have looked through my photo folders and can't seem to find it. Anyone remember seeing it? Happen to have a copy of the picture? Thanks for the help!

  11. i think painted all black or silver and gray two tone [silver on top gray on sides] it would look cool! if you make the bed with rib sides like the future liner in step down pattern car hauler it would be awesome..

Man, I too saved the picture. Someone needs to build this concept. Maybe if weesner draws it, the metal master ( Jimmy) will knock it out..

This one's cute, but 'shopped. You'd have to cut you legs off to get in it.

Yeah, if you compare my edited version to the one that motoandy posted of the original, you'll see that I added material to the cab and the bed.

I dont think there is enough added. photoshop it without a door and just see where your legs will be, with two wheel arches and a motor in the middle you would still need to be a fisher price "little people" to fit inside.

look at the corvair vans above, that is about what you would need for front overhang on a body that sits that low over the wheels to fit normally. the really short nosed big truck above is how high you need the door to be over the wheel to fit without overhang.

its a cool picture though. photoshop doesnt usually reflect reality because you can make these kind of tradeoffs on proportions, I have seen a lot of guys photoshop car front ends on trucks and convince themselves to do it and the end result usually doesnt look a) like the photoshop or b) any good.

  20. The van seating position is higher and farther back....and there still isn't much leg room.
I am building a COE, and finding room for steering, pedals, seats, etc is a challenge.
