Projects 1960 Chrysler New Yorker Rustoration

  1. Slow and steady. I’m going to remake the bit of structure behind the rocker and weld it all in.

    That is quite the puzzle. But the progress looks good.

  5. Couple hours a week. Rebuilt the rear section using the “slightly better than what I had” rear panel from my parts car.
    I used brake lines and sheetmetal to recreate the weatherstrip channel.

    I’m onto fitting the rear bumper.

    I was so thrilled to see the thread update in my email. One of my favorite threads ever.

    I just start reading the thread over again. Unfortunately a lot of the earlier picture links are broken. Bummer.

  10. It wasn’t terrible. I got a nice 4’ brake now so I was able to make the channels pretty easy. The curves were tough.
