    City: Burbank

    State: California
    Price: $27,500
1960 Chevrolet El Camino, 283 small block w/2-barrel carb, 3-speed manual column shift.
    -New master cylinder
-New brakes front and back (wheel cylinders, lines, shoes and drums)
    -New tires
    -New shocks
-New wheel bearings front and back
-New plugs, coil and fresh oil change
-Two stage copper metallic paint w/3 coats of clear
-Front and back bumper chrome is original and in like-new condition with no dents, surface rust, peeling or flaking.
-Well-preserved interior with newer carpet and upholstery
-All stainless and aluminum trim is there and in very good condition
-Windows are in great condition - no cracks and front windshield tint is still there. They roll up and down smoothly

This is an extremely dry original southern California car built in Van Nuys and spent its entire life in the Los Angeles area. No rust anywhere, including anywhere on the tailgate hinges and channel. All metal is solid, the body is straight and all panels, doors, hood and tailgate shut solid. It runs smooth, brakes well, and doesn’t overheat. The front suspension needs an alignment and new bushings, but it still drives nicely regardless. The windshield wipers, radio and clock don’t work and there are a couple small rattles and squeaks as this is a mostly original 64 year-old vehicle. Overall, this is a very nicely preserved, driver quality stock first generation El Camino, not a trailer queen.

For anyone interested in the Los Angeles area, this car will be at the Road Kings car show at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank on Sunday, June 9. Thanks, Jim.
