It runs and drives like a dream. I took it on a 600 mile round trip last week to the West Coast Kustoms Cruisin Nationals in Santa Maria.

The engine and transmission: are a 350/th350 out of a mid 70’s C-10 Chevrolet pickup. The mileage was unknown but it looked and ran great and had very good compression. The engine was resealed, dressed up and a new double roller timing chain and gears were installed. A new aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor and billet HEI distributor were added and the stock generator was replaced with a 105amp one wire alternator. Cooling is done by a new 3 pass aluminum radiator and a 2800 cfm electric fan that is thermostatically controlled. The driveline is also new and an expansion joint was added aft of the center carrier bearing so it would expand when the air suspension is actuated. The inner fender wells and radiator support were all powder coated and the firewall was painted body color.

Air Suspension: Includes 2 Viair 444c compressors, 10 gallons of air storage, GC comfort ride 4 manifold, adjustable tubular 3-link with Firestone F9000 bags in the rear, powder coated stock control arms with Energy Suspension Urethane bushings added and Airlift 7” bags up front. A power brake booster and master cylinder were added and the front brakes were converted to drilled vented discs with Classis Drop 2” drop spindles. The Air suspension system is computer controlled by a KP Components/Dakota Digital ride height controller mounted where the ashtray used to be. There are three presets so you can set your driving height, up high and in the weeds. The floor was tunneled for the drive line so it can be driven very low. The 15X6 Chrome US Wheel Steelies and the 215/75R15 Coker Classic Radial white walls are also new.

Exterior paint and trim: The car was painted already when I got it but it looks like a single stage urethane. It was in pretty good shape but the jams still had the original paint and didn’t look as good as the exterior so I had the jams repainted to match. All new door rubber, tailgate rubber, wing window rubber, windshield rubber and door window channels were installed. Bumpers are re-chromed and all of the aluminum and stainless trim has been polished to like new condition. The paint is not perfect but it does show very well. It has a few small bubbles at the bottom of one door and on the rear rain gutter but they can only be seen from very close. All of the glass is in good shape and the windows roll up and down great. Wing window regulators were rebuilt and work perfect also.

Interior: was gutted and the left rear foot well was replaced with a new one (that was the only rust in the floor). The floor was stripped and painted with POR-15 before it was completely covered with Dyanmat. All of the dash and interior garnish moldings were painted a satin white using a base/clear urethane. The dash was pinstriped by Ed “WORD” Chavez and is a piece of art. The interior was completely reupholstered in beautiful blue and white tuck and roll. All of the gages and windshield wipers are functional.
