Hey gang! What a great site. Lot of cool stuff. After ol' Bessie, my 59 panel van, has been in the shop for a month I get to pull er out and get her some mufflers! She's got a lot of new stuff and has been updated in a lot of places including an '86 305 w 200 trans. Going from three on the tree to automatic is freakin' amazing. I'll let you know how the maiden voyage goes.

    Keep Roddin'

Just installed a front sway bar. Man that thing rocks! or now doesn't rock, how every you want to look at it. Also to the sounds has been added a pair of Caddie horns! A nice addition to the original horn. The tri-tone horn sounds like a small freight train. I use the horn for every thing now, even answering my cell phone on the interstate. BTW, Hang up and drive . . .

There are a few 59 fleetsides in our neighborhood, a black 3200, and blue 3100. Nice trucks. It is nice for ol' Bessie to have family so close.

  13. Welcome from Davenport Iowa -reminds me of the 58 Apache that I had traded a 67 Camaro with the one factory traction bar on it-then traded the 58 for a 41 Chevy truck - would really like a old suburban some day... know of any ???
