has anyone installed one in their 59 chevy? happy with it? do the controls work well? my monster kooler from vintage air never did really kool the wagon so i added an underdash unit in addition to it. but i was thinking of updating my unit to the sure fit so i could use my factory switches.

I installed a Vintage Air Gen lV Sure Fit in my 63 BelAir 2 door post car with no complaints and great cooling. The Gen lV is the only way to go as you use the original controls with wires instead of cables.

I put a VA sure fit in my 60 wagon and am very happy with it. It uses the original controls and works very well. They were also very good to deal with customer service wise.
