This is a real 1958 MGA roadster with a clear title last issued in 1966. The build of this race car started in the late 60's and never finished till 1976. It was first built as a center steer flip top race car, then to go Super Gas racing in 1980 it had to be converted to a left steer. It was raced as a 9.90 Super Gas car from 1980 till 1990 when parked. The car is still in as raced condition with all electronics, motor and trans. It has gone as fast as 9.40s @ 140 mph with the same combo that's still in the car today. The motor is a Sam Gianino built 355 with 6 inch aluminum rods 13.5 compression, roller cam and aluminum ported heads with a single holley carb. Trans is a powerglide with a 5500 converter with a brake and the rear is a 513 olds. It has a straight front axle with Anglia spindles and four wheel brakes and Cragar Super Tricks. It was parked in good running condition with the valves backed off and oil put in the motor and that's the way it still sits today, I haven't touched the car, its as found. I have lots of old photos and still in contact with the original owner of the car since the mid 60s. This is a fantastic old survivor with great local history. It comes with extra 488 center section and extra powerglide and some original MGA parts including the original windshield. I will sell less engine. Please call between 9am and 6pm EST for an honest description.
