    ELpolacko,
What software are you using to make up the sub-frame?
Is it made up of one piece bent up then the joints welded or are they all flat sections stitched together?
    Thanks.

  2. I have Alibre' Design 2012

I try and construct the rails with the fewest welds possible, but yes, flat plates bent and welded at the corners to make a rail.

Thanks for the info, you build it like i figured you would.

I am playing with Solidworks (just started) I hope this works as well as Alibre? There seems to be chatter that they are as good as each other, time will tell.

I have a 55 Buick that I am looking to put the Jag stuff in along with the drive line out of a 96 Roadmaster (LT1 engine & 4L60E trans) so figured I will build a whole chassis to take the lot rather than chop up the old one and this way I have the old one to reference off as I go. This will all kick off in 2017 as we will move to a nice sized garage after the wife is done this coming maternity leave.

Keep up the good work and thanks so much for sharing.
