Hello, I've recently replaced the lower hinge of my '57 and I'll be damn that I am having a hard time getting it to line back up with the correct gaps.

Any tips on this, Ideally I want it to move about 1/8" or so maybe even 1/16" forward as it rubs somewhat on the pillar at the rear of the door.

-With that said, it doesn't want to move anymore. Any suggestions? Anyone wanna pop on over and point out what I did wrong? ha... Yes the bolts are maxed in their slots and line back up where they were indented before removal.

    Thanks-

Can you post some pics. I have worked on A LOT of those doors!

If you have to slot it out, something else is going wrong...Or at least, that is what my brother always tells me!

How close is it to the fender?

    What model?

    Ranchero.... Pics coming shortly.

Thanks, I figured something isn't right, so I decided to post before I went any further.
