[= 1957 Ford Custom that was stored for 35 years in an enclosed garage in Kentucky. I located the car a year ago and it has under gone a complete frame off nut and bolt Resto-Mod restoration. Rust free with no patch panels. I have a complete set of pictures of the build showing the pristine sandblasted frame and suspension before complete powder coating in satin black. Untouched original floor pan done in bed liner sealer top and bottom then painted Jeep Anvil gray. I looked for years to find a short wheelbase 1957 that was worthy of this type of build. Powered by a 428 FE with correct 406 Ford factory tri-power , correct numbered carburetors , linkage, and air cleaner. Competition Cam, 3 angle valve job, Ceramic coated headers by Stan’s in Oregon. All engine work performed by Brooks Racing Engines. Ram clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, Powermaster aluminum starter, factory Ford power steering pump feeding the new Borgeson power steering box. Saldana Racing aluminum radiator. Ford galaxie top-loader close ratio 4 speed with with factory linkage and shifter. Original Ford nine inch with 3:56 gear. New Old Stock Traction Masters with aluminum 3 inch lowering blocks by Butch’s custom shop. Complete engine and transmission installed without any alterations to frame, motor or transmission mounts. Big block Ford sound through flow masters with a 2.5 inch exhaust system. Double deep PPG BMW black base/clear with Holman-Moody lettering. Wheels are original 14 inch powder coated ‘57’s with 205/75’s in the front and 225/75’s in the rear and ‘57 dog dish hubcaps. New tinted windshield, back glass and side glass. New 1957 aluminized fuel tank. Air conditioning by Vintage air. Interior upholstery in original pattern gray cloth and vinyl, including headliner, seats, door panels, kick panels with charcoal gray carpeting. Dynamat and insulation underneath. Dakota digital instrument panel. Crow 3” lap belts and shoulder harnesses custom made for the car in gray with black powder coated hardware. There were only a little over 6300 of these ever built and were very popular in the USAC/NASCAR circle (Fireball Roberts, David Pearson,Holman/Moody,etc.) due to their lightweight and short wheelbase of 116 inches (2 inches shorter than the Fairlanes) Very few exist in their original trim and appearance today. A truly stunning automobile that has never been damaged , abused, rusted or hacked on in any way. Boxes of original parts included with sale only.
