LEAN, MEAN, AND GREEN!! That is SOOOOO NICE.
Looks great like how they have the lettering blown back in the proper direction on both sides, nice touch.
Thanks loudbang, Travis the guy that lettered it, really got it looking good. Dad's old car had the lettering leaning the same on the passenger side as the drivers, this looks so much better in my opinion.
Thanks Robert we're about back together.
Quain said you modified some rubber for your front and rear glass, what did you use and is the front and rear glass or lexan?
Lookin' really nice man!!
The front and rear are both lexan. We bolted them in like a regular racecar, then cut the factory rubber and glued it over top so it looks like it's in the factory rubber
Looking great, looks and speed
For now. Until I get a few more parts for my fuel injection set up. Hopefully I'll have it on sometime this season
love love !!
yes the lettering is great ! I lettered alley cat and hit man. good luck to you !
Got my seat covers in, they're just laying in the car, and the covers aren't stretched on it yet. But I'm excited.
Do you like GREEN?
Maybe just a little. Everything can't be petty blue Bert!
I got an old school green fiberglass fan for my car too
Been finishing up loose ends on the car, freshened the jerico up, and changed shifters. Got a sweet new old stock hurst super shifter on it now. Wiring is done, and everything is back together. All that's left really is put the windshield in, and adjust the valves. We're looking forward to Montgomery!
Zak.. I didn't know you had a HAMB build on your car. I just read it all today after I accidently stumbled onto it. I am subscribed. I am sure there are other SEG builds on here I have not seen but if I sat on my butt and read them all I would never get anything done on my own junk...LOL Nice to see a little more of your back story. You and your dad have come a long way with this car. You both should be very proud. You don't realize yet how much this car will mean to you someday. Hope to see you at Montgomery in a couple weeks. Looks like you are ready. Car looks great!
Thanks Rusty! Bring me a T shirt to Montogomery!
Hey Zak. Looking good. Went to two SGA events last year, saw your win ! My Son and I are steadily working on ours. Hope to run with you guys sometime this year. We will be spectating in Montgomery, gonna come by and shake your hand.
Sounds good man. I'm following your build and your sons build on here, dad's favorite car is a 53 Stude so I can't wait to see it done!
What did you end up doing with the offenhauser scoop?
I sold it a while back
Shoot, Thanks though. Good Luck this weekend.
I got my helmet back from paint last night, Travis done a great job on it just like my lettering. And should be picking up my class and car number decals and my T shirts tomorrow. We're ready for Montgomery Saturday!
Way to go Zak !! Put it on them again ! Hope to see you guys at Shadyside.
