    Probably thee nicest of all '57 Chev. customs built by Errol Huttle of Elizebeth N.J. Was known as "Blue Angel" Anybody know the history of the car and if it still exists ???

    What kind of grille is that? I've seen another custom '57 with the same grille, wondering what it came out of..

    '53 Chevy teeth with the ends of the '57 grille bar. I had a similar set up in one of my cars some time ago.

    Looks like a '54 grill , the teeth anyway.....

    Just found a thread with that car build, it's a Corvette grille, looks like '57 Vette.

    Teddyp will probably know what happened to the car, he lived in the area, and showed customs back then. He also, sadly, worked for a towing company, and in the 60's, actually towed a lot of the old customs to the crusher. He's got a lot of stories to tell!

    The article in the posted link, identifying this as a Corvette grille, is incorrect.
    (Not unusal in early magazines.) As others have said, these are '53 Chevy teeth.

    You're right, it IS one of the nicest '57's out there!

    Im gonna get crap for this, but I can do without the caddy tail lights. Who knows, maybe because its been used alot. I think it would look better without. Then again, if this car was built today, they might not have gone with them...

    that was earl huttle car it was built in eliz nj it was done around 60 in 64 i built my 57 that look alot like it sadly the guy i work for came across alot of old customs in the late 60,s and sent them to the cusher i save what i could and sold alot of parts in the 90,s when custom came back
