    Hey everybody,
So a buddy of mine is in the process of doing a 57 Buick more door. We ordered the Scarebird kit for discs up front. Replaced all of the brake lines, installed a duel master from scarebird (Mopar something or other), proportion valve installed. Ok so everything is in the car, but he cannot get a solid pedal. Does anybody have a clue as to why this would happen? He has bled the snot out of all the lines with a vacume pump like 5 times, still nothing. Any help would be appreciated! He is an old school hot rodder from Fishers Island, NY and is getting all worked up....
    Thanks,
    Chuck

Hi Chuck, have him pinch the two front rubber lines, and the rear one with vicegrips. If that makes the pedal good, then it could be air near the cyls, or could be poor fit of the shoe to drum radius on the rears.

ask him if he put new shoes out back, and if yes, did he place a shoe inside the drum to see if the radius was fitting good

  4. Not sure if your running a booster with the master? You can check the plunger rod between the master cyl and pedal, if you have a booster on it the plunger rod between the booster & master cyl is usually adjustable. Even a little adjustment on the plunger rod makes a difference
