Forget the gun sights and the front bumper. Gives a '57 more of a hot rod/racer look.

That would formally be, "Richard Cranium". Knew a few physicians that fit that name rather well; interesting how some people so intelligent, can be so ignorant, and not even realize, it's how they come across.
    I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

  15. That black paint Chevy put on only the front ends is a beast. I remember seeing laquer jobs peeling off '57 hoods, possibly because it wasn't prepped right. Had a guy soda blast mine to bare metal.
Someone must have turned the knob on that clock, Lloyd. I used to keep one hand on 5 and the other on 7. I'm such a geek...

  16. PICTURES are welcome

I went to high school with 2 brothers, Ed and Richard Head. Rich was a big bruiser of a guy...and NOBODY would dare call him Dick.

  19. I ordered an exhaust kit, universal 2 1/2" with chambered mufflers. But it doesn't have the flared end that bolts to the center dump manifold. I've searched the parts store websites, but i guess i don't know what the piece I'm looking for is called. All i find is reducers for headers. Somebody help me what's the damn connector called? I've searched SBC head pipes, intermediate pipes etc...

What were they called and where did you find them? I've always called them head pipes.

  21. Found them on Ebay, called downpipes, but i went back to O'Reilly's website and can't find anything. Ain't no damn exhaust shop around here either!!!!

I would also like to know this. I have to build an exhaust for my '57 soon and I've got lots of leftovers to weld together but those pieces I'm not sure about.

The "Kid" at O'Reilly's is gonna tell you that his computer doesn't show a 350 was available in '57 and then ask if it has A/C !!! LOL

  27. It's not mine.... doing the body, paint, and glass. Ain't no way i could deal with two of them lol.

  28. It's that way at every discount auto parts store around here! Give or take a couple of parts guys, and you always look for them when you walk through the door!!!

  29. These are what i found. Almost aggravating lol. I'm thinking about a trip to the junkyard or something along those lines. I don't even know if these are correct for the ramhorn manifolds? Screenshot_20200416-204755_Samsung Internet.jpg
