Technical 1956 Pod Removal Upper Nuts

    1st Post, already asking for help.

    The upper nuts by the Turn Signal Indicators…how did you remove them with the dash backing plate in the way? Nut Driver is not a straight shot.
    I have a 3/8” angle open end and the backing case of the Pod also gets in the way.

    How did you do it?

  2. Have you tried a socket with a U-joint ?
    Failing that, bend a Open End.

    Yes!
    I pulled the Dash. Not much of a mechanic, I could not get at the upper nuts. Perhaps I should have kept going with the spring extention and deep socket.
    Dash needs a new garnish rubber , good time to change it out.
    1956 2 Door Parklane Wagon, nicknamed Frank. AKA Frankenstein.
    End the controversy, are the Fuel and Water Gauge 12 or 6 volt?
