Does it run, drive and stop? Those are important factors to help determine a value.

Yes, it’s supposed to. Engine started, but died when the seller unloaded it. Maybe the choke is stuck? Fuel filter clogged? Sounds great when it starts and runs a few minutes. I was told the transmission las a leaking seal. I just don’t have the strength and patience to mess with it. AF77A214-39D4-4504-B6C9-6B8B0F1212A3.jpeg

  4. In the Canadian Northwest (Vancouverish), as-is, it would be listed on Craigslist around $7500 Cdn. If it were cleaned up, polished, running, and yard driving, stopping...it would probably be listed at $10-12k

Thanks, I would sell for that.

  6. You might note that I said "would be listed at"...it may also show up week after week, month after month, year after...well you get it.

Car market is down. Took 3 to Petit Jean and brought 3 home. I've never seen it so dead.

How about we talk about the things I could do to help this car sell? Obviously, it needs paint. Obviously, it should be running. I’m only selling because I don’t have the energy and health to do this work myself. I’m already l loosing money. Should I put more good faith money into this or give it away for free?

Why not join the Oldsmobile club?

From what I see it's no charge.
Certainly if it wouldn't take a lot getting it running it's worth a lot more.

Well, I have a $500 down payment, remainder to be paid upon pickup. $3900 on FB marketplace. Less than I have in it, but less of a loss than I expected.

  13. Curious how you got $1,400 more than your asking price. A bidding war? Whatever the reason, well done and congrats.

$2500 was the HAMB price. I had it listed much higher in other places.
