Thats a sweet looking ride. I have and extra front bumper that I plan to use but it is missing its bullets and teeth..I will have to take the teeth and bullets off of my other one.

As a kid my favorite Uncle had a white over red 4 door hardtop (Phaeton?) and his best buddy had a white over lime green twin. Fender skirts and continental kits were all they ever needed, both had single 4bbl "Police Interceptor" engines (at least valve covers) and duals with "beer can" mufflers, east coast taildraggers at their best, 1963 timeframe.

sounds like a plan to me. I know where a good parts car is...the only problem is where it is..Im in GA its in West TX. Im really thinking about making a trip out there and stripping everything off the car I can. The guy who has it sales the parts real cheap.

  12. Yeah kage, I didnt want to let the cat out of the bag but I have all kinds of plans for the car. Im going to have make a thread very soon so you guys can see my build and how it will be. This one lays frame and with my cruiser skirts you cant see the back wheels and it hugs the floor.

Unfortunately after I get her home it will be a week or so before I get to start on her. Im taking leave from the army for a couple of weeks and will be on vacation. But as soon as I get back home there will be a ton of updates.

looks like I just acquired another 292 Y-block out of a 60 ford pickup...to bad it doesnt have the ram horns. The motor turns over by hand. Its always good to have a 2nd engine. Now the fun part of pulling this engine. The truck it is in has been sitting in the woods for years..Its a little hard to get to.
