Nope...2dr post. And she is a real solid car.
Due to some trouble on my buddies end (not my buddies fault) He was not able to bring my Mercury to me. Good thing I was planning a trip out there in a few weeks when I take leave at the end of July. Not having my car here is really stressing me out
though a 55, this was one of my favorites when it was in town.
I love that car. I have looked for info on it but have came up short. do you know who built it?
Love these cars
I'll add you to the HAMB Merc Club...you will be #405. Post a pic or two on that thread.
Cool project! Good choice of motors.
Was chopped and owned by Pepe in Salinas and flamed by Rod Powell. Don't have much more info than that. If anyone does, it would be Rod.
here are some pics from Rikster's collection. Pretty damn gorgeous.
That is 1 of the sweetest rides I have ever seen.
love those chopped 56's! i would love to add one of those to the fleet sometime.
Nice ride ! BTW: Not many 2Dr. Posts were built to begin with, and those that "lived" were turned into donors for HdTps & Converts.
Damn that car is sick !!
Amen brother. Thats what its all about
ride looks good... waiting to get a car is enough to drive a guy crazy
Tell me about it...The Move from TX wasn't that bad, but waiting for my car to get here is Killing me.
Still waiting on my car to get here but I have decided on a paint job for my car. Im going to do my own version of this HotWheels car. let me know what you think.
That hot wheel looks damn good.
Yeah....I seen it and Just had to have it.
Any updates on the build? I will be following this one for sure! I have a set of seats for sale fresh outta my 56!
Just that My Merc will finally be home on the 5th of Aug. I have brought my 62 T-bird seats (front and rear) and the center console out of storage and cleaned them up for the Merc. I have been planning and sketching out some other ideas for the merc as well. After I get my Continental kit end I am thinking about extending the quartes on the Merc 15 inches to make the lines flow better. Currently putting my parts list together to make the ordering process easier.
My Merc will be home soon but you can tell she has been sitting out side for the last few months. The 1st thing I will have to do once I get her home is stripper her down and seal the metal.
That a good looking hot wheels! Cant wait to see your car come together.
I love the lower model 56 ford and mercs.
these are the front and rear seats and the console out of my old 62 T-bird that will be going in to the Mercury. These pics were taken the day I pulled the seats out of storage..there a little dirty but they should clean up nicely.
im not sure why those pics uploaded so big.
Those seats look good. I picked up a nice wrap around rear seat for my 56 and thinking of keeping the front bench. I love a bench seat in my cars.
I do to..bench seats are great...nothing like having your woman sitting right next to you while your cruising around. Unfortuantly my car did not come with a seat and I aleady had the T-bird seats..Im on a tight budget so I decided to go ahead and use them.
love the tbird seats. also diggin the bullets on the front bumper. this is going to be one 56 to keep an eye out for!
I love the bullets on the bumper to..im trying to find another set plus some extra teeth for the grill.
You can mix and match the 55 and 56 bumper with no problems.
