NO real updates on the merc. Finished up the motor. I have not had a chance to go back to TN to pick up my Transmission. I did get the deck lid, roof, and front drivers fender reprimed.

I did score a good part at the local you pull it yard. I got an Edsel grill and a power steering pulley for a y-block.

The ones on my Interceptor intake? They are in real good shape. I opened them up and had a look inside...they where clean as a whistle. And the action on them is smooth.

I will finally be getting back on the Merc here soon. I've found a great set of 55-56 pontiac split rear bumper. Transmission is ready to go in. So start expecting some updates and pics here soon

I pulled the rear end so I can do the finish welding on it tomorrow. I also started preping the wiring.

I am finally getting to pick up my trans this weekend.

I've got 2 months to have the Merc ready for the 1st annual car show my car club is putting on.

Yeah...me to. Especially since I'm on my last week in the army and I'm taking the next 2 months just working on the Merc.

I pulled the rear and got all the finish welding done and trimmed the lower bag bracket. I got it reinstalled. Put the bags back on with the brass fitting I am using for the air ride set up.

I started wiring up the car. The Rebel wiring harness makes that job a lot easier. I am also starting finishing work on the dash. I have paint on the way so I can get it painted and installed in the car. Over the weekend I plan to get most of the wiring finished up, new airlines ran, and work on the floor board.

I got a lot done today. I got the dash and steering column painted and installed. They look great. I've got most of the gauges wired up. I would say I have 90% of the wiring done. I just need to get a new positve battery cable and the rest of the wiring I can't do until I drop the engine.

I got the lower front shock mounts made and welded on. I also got 1 top shock mount made. Ill make the other top tomorrow. And then I will start on the rear shock mounts and do some work on the floors.

I painted the steering wheel as well. I should get it installed tomorrow.

I will get some pics up as soon as I can. For some reason I can't upload pics from my phone.

I'm hoping to have her on the road within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

I just got back from TN. I will be bolting the trans to the motor tonight.

I picked up the rest of my heater parts, the front door trim, the back glass and a few other odds and ends.
I will get some pics up in the next day or two

My new moon Tach and slant cut lake pipes just showed up. I have a couple of carburator rebuild kits on the way. Im having some trouble out of the carbs. hopefully a rebuild will take care of the problem. I also got my 2nd Marine intake in. I will probably rebuild the carbs on it and just swap the intakes out.

My air bag parts should be in by friday. so I can start getting the air ride system ready. I still need to fab up some brackets for the compressor in the engine bay.

I have 1 month togo to get the car ready for teh 1st annual Hooligan Hoedown...wish me luck
