Technical 1956 Lincoln Brakes

Has anyone put disc brakes on the front of a '56 Lincoln ?

Look to a Merc for help. I think Scarebird makes brackets and if you can remove the drum from the hub I’m sure an aftermarket disc for your bolt pattern is available from someone like Wilwood. Once you have the bracket measurements the rest might be pretty ez as you can space the calipers for just about any disc.

 

Might want to look at Ford PU conversions to keep 5 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern for the wheels....
