I recently purchased a 1956 ford Fairlane town sedan. I was wondering if the disc brakes off of a 1970 galaxie500/ltd(yes, same car) would be the same as bolting Granada brakes on this? Bottom line, I'm asking if they would fit. Thanks for all your help in advance.

  2. Front brakes on my '55 Ford came from a'72 Mercury Montego. Same thing as the '70 Galaxie brakes. Swapped out spindles, brakes, everything, bolted right up. Bigger brakes than the Granada, and you don't have to ream out the bottom ball joint hole like you do with Granada brakes.

Hey JeffB, what metal is a 56 Ford grill made of? Mine is rusty. Can it be sanded and polished? Thanks
