Technical 1956 Buick Hood Insulation

Good morning folks does anybody know what side shows when the hood is up matt side o fuzzy side. THANKS. ALSO DID THE GENERATOR CONVERSION WORKS PERFECT

 

I believe my 55 Buick had the fuzzy side out.

 

Okay I'm trying to figure it out. Also the guys in my Squad is trying to figure it out also

 

If there's a smooth side and a fuzzy side, remember-the adhesive will not stick the fuzzy side to the smooth side of the hood, but the smooth side of the insulation (if there is one) will adhere nicely to the hood. It always bohered me to see the fuzzy side out, though.
