I have decided to sell my very nice and very rare 1955 Pontiac Safari Star chief. I don’t drive it much anymore, so I have listed it with a very low price for a quick sale. It is a real nice car, overall. It is an older restoration, but still looks great!! The underside has been detailed. The interior is real nice. I just replaced the carpeting. The exterior paint is nice. The engine bay is decent, but could use some detailing. I would put this car at a 2 ½ to 3. It would not take much to get it to a 2. With a little bit it effort the value of this car could be doubled from the asking price! The body looks very solid, overall. The floors are very nice overall, with a few spots being repaired at one time. As you can see in the pictures, the floors are real nice, overall. It could use a new gas tank. The original has been repaired and is OK, but now that they are reproduced, it would be much nicer with a new one. I have original wheels for the car, that go with, if desired. It has original power brakes. The glass is all good. The rear seat flips down and functions as it should. I am only asking $38,500 for the car. As I mentioned, it is priced for a quick sale. Please check the price guides and what other Safaris are going for, to see what a deal this is. Very rare opportunity to own a rare car. I am located in Southeastern Wisconsin.
