***SOLD***FOR SALE!!! Fresh Built 1955 331 Chrysler Hemi. Beautifully detailed with a brand new Gear Drive 6x2, 6 Holley 94's, setup with linkage and fuel log, Isky 270 Mega Cam, with new Hot Heads lifters and adjustable push-rods, Mallory dual-point converted to Pertronix electronic ignition, Cragar motor mounts, NOS Scheifer aluminum flywheel and NOS Wilcap adapter, plus a good used Muncie M20 4 speed trans and Hurst Shifter. I did not rebuild this motor myself, but it looks beautiful! I pulled the valve covers to confirm it has the sought after Triple Nickel heads, standard/standard block/crank, had exceptionally low miles, so it was cleaned, rehoned, and polished with new bearings/rings/seals/gaskets, fresh oil pump, rebuilt rockers, new cam/lifters/pushrods, fresh valve job, etc. I have NOT fired it yet with the new intake/carbs/cam setup. Also have a kit to build a set of zoomies with laser cut 3/8” flanges and a bunch of 2” U-bends. I’m including, essentially, everything you need to drop right into a Traditional Hot Rod! I’m asking $9,000 for everything. I will not entertain low ball offers, as there is almost $4,000 in NEW parts here, and 555 casting Hemi heads go for $800+ a pair in junkyard condition. This pictures are all old, the motor now has spark plug tubes, front accessories, etc. Carbs have since been disassembled and cleaned, etc, etc, but still need to be reamed for the extended shafts and rebuilt. I have $500 worth of rebuild kits and throttle linkage from the HAMB’s own Dickster27 (Dick’s Hot Rod Carbs). The motor is located in the North Bay (SF Bay Area), Northern California. I will be bumping my price by $2,000 if/when I get the time to rebuild 6 carburetors and fire this thing up, but I’m getting married in 7 weeks and just don’t have the spare time like I used to. Willing to ship internationally. Can crate and deliver to a shipper of your choice. Contact me for more photos, or with any questions. *Edelbrock EC6 was sold separately. *Top Adapter Not Included.
I wish I could better explain my situation to any would-be buyers. I’m mentally preparing to jump back on this thing and make it run. I really don’t have the time, but I have even less space and I need to do something about that. I don’t mean to sound desperate (I’m not), but my apathy about investing precious time on THIS project vs the many others I’m currently excited about might just convince me to take a lower offer. I know a built, running Hemi with an adapted Muncie 4-speed and this much eye-candy on it is worth every bit of $10k. And this thing is maybe 10 solid hours away, and you literally wouldn’t have to spend a dime to get it there. Make me an offer! Thanks, Casey
