Looks like a race shop to me!!
Got inspired to clean the shop up some. Looks a lot better.
Nice job. Snowman
Wow! Now it looks like your not getting any work done!!
Brake lines and tinwork don’t make much of a mess lol
Really like the green. Coming right along. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
Been working on the shifter bracket, spacers, and linkage all day but it’s done, and mounted. And his pinion support came in today. Dads trying out his new office too. C gas better pay attention, their days are numbered!
Ready to kick some butt. Awesome tranny, looks mean and strong.
Your dad looks right at home.
Love those nice straight shift rods. Very classy.
wow coming along great love the green
Some from Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun Georgia from the Southeast Gassers race today
Still plugging away. Got the rear disc brake brackets welded on, holes drilled out for 5/8” studs, and the center milled out to center on the axles. And got the pinion set up. Also got the driveshaft length figured, picking it up Monday. Gonna finish setting the gear up tomorrow and start on the firewall tinwork.
The gear is set up and the center section is installed. Time to start on the tin work.
Admit it, He is making vroom, vroom noise's right. lol Car is turning out great. Larry
Got dads driveshaft made and installed, got the axles and rear brakes bolted on for the final time, and got it back on the ground. Made a removable 2nd driveshaft loop and got it on, and been looking at the brake and clutch linkage. Also picked the clutch and pressure plate up for it and a gear drive for the motor.
Look's great. Good to finally meet you at the race at Paradise. What gear ratio are you running in the 55 ?
Thanks, good to finally meet you too. We’re gonna run a 6.00 gearset in it starting out.
Got the rear brake lines ran, and drug in a shear/roller/brake yesterday. Gonna start on tinwork tonight.
I hear you made some bounty money at Mooresville. Is that true?
Yep we took him out second round.
Got the tubs finished and some tin in. Gonna try to get the front floors in tomorrow.
Welded in some 1”x1” to brace the floor, gonna start on the floor tinwork next.
that just keeps getting cooler
Man you guys are just flying along on this one.
Got the side panels made and the template for the package tray. Ran out of rivets and aluminum. Gonna grab some more tomorrow, but dad is really doing some nice work on the sheetmetal.
Hah, I can make a mess just thinking of what to do next!!
Got the package tray and rear side panels made up and installed today. Got the pattern made to make the removable 2 piece center panel made. Gonna brake them up tomorrow and install them and the back will be finished. The tinwork will completely hide the modern looking wheel tubs so it looks correct I’m the drivers compartment.
The rear tin work is done. The middle panel is removable in two pieces so you can service the rear end easily.
