Went to look at a '55 Chevy the other day. A 210 2-dr wagon...no engine...but was a 1970s hot rod. Not the completely stock builder I was hoping for, but more HAMB-friendly. Old hot rod, uncut body (great fenders even)...good gasser starter. Anyway - I wondered about the wheels. Cool thing is, it survived with the only mods being... little cutouts in the inner fenders (for headers)... 4-speed hole in transmission tunnel...extra guage in dash metallic repaint way back... 1965 GTO seats (still have the orig. upholstery!) blue shaggy headliner! ...AND they didn't even radius the rear wheel openings...RARE on these '55 hot rods from back then... ...& BIG & little mags! ==== Anyway - what are these slotted mags? I took some pics... ~There are 2 of the WIDER ones, (but according to the tires sizes they are (1) 15" and (1) 14". ~They look to be about 10" wide. Can't be much narrower. And the valve stem is back by the slots. Not at the bead. ~The NARROWER ones are 14". They don't look much over 5" wide. (?). Again, the valve stem is BEHIND the slots, not at the bead. Unusual? ~Super collectible? Or just some old "U.S. Mags"? THANKS!
Those wild looking slots appear to be on the rear of the car. I'm curious as hell as to what they are.....
I know for sure they are all aluminum, the five windows are the common Ansen Sprints or a copy from Japan. The six hole I know but the name is filed deep in my brain, I think they are drag masters, kinda rare but not big dollar because of the six holes.

I was thinking they were Fenton Gyros until I saw they were six window. Are they 15" and narrow? Does'nt really matter, you'll have NO trouble selling them. Butch/56sedandelivery.
I would have to guess that the rears are either Ansen or U.S.INDYs, but I would peg them at 8.5" rather than 10"ers. It would be highly unlikely that the wheelwells wouldn't be radiused with 10s on the back, unless they had an ungodly amount of back space. Man, I would think twice about getting rid of them though....
Like was said Drag Masters on the front, I passed on a set for 40 bucks about 5-6 yeras ago, and the rears look like U.S. Indy's which are one of the lightest slot wheels. The rears on my bucket are U.S. Indy's in a 8.5 width and that valve stem is inside the slot.
Like I said...not mine...YET. (I am getting alot of PMs wanting to see that cool find. Just hesitant because it's not mine. Just posting this as an informational "neat find" thing right now.
Hay all these mag wheel enthusiasts are likely subscribed here... slight detour... ANyone have any 4-bolt old MAGS for a 1960-63 Ford Falcon? Sen some, I know someone made them. THANKS!
