This center section was pulled from my 54 for a ratio change. Excellent working condition, was being driven with no issues. You can swap this into your car in an afternoon and have great highway gears. Direct swap into axles as late as 55, and I believe as early as 1939? Also should be able to work with a 56 axle but the pinion yoke will be different. The pinion seal looked leaky, but I always checked the gear oil and it never seemed to lose any. Drove it for 6 years and the level stayed good. I can include a new pinion seal for free. Shipping in the continental US will probably be in the $40-$50 range.
