Been a good week, was able to get the front end rebuild kit ordered from Kanter, managed to get the front end pulled off the frame to start the clean up work.

Today at the swap meet ran into a guy who has a lot of Plymouth parts, picked up some interior chrome trim pieces and the rear fender top pieces.

Just having a little trouble getting the assembly that holds the A arm to the uprights so they are sitting in some penetrating oil.

Guess a pic of the front end would be nice, hopefully we will have it cleaned and painted by time all the new front end pieces show up.

i have studied this photo shopped pic for hrs. it is the basis for what i want to do to mine! it looks like the front window is stock and the fatness has been taken out of the rear roof skin before being dropped and stretched in the back. looks cool

Finally back to making some progress, managed to install the new front suspension. We used Eaton Springs, Fatman uprights and the Scarebird brake conversion. Will post some pics soon

They made ranchero style "Utes" over here with all of the chrysler products in 54, i've got a dodge kingsway crusader version and a mate dave is building a chopped 2dr out of his 4dr plymouth. We dig em over here in oz. They have a pretty good following.
