Ive been called way worse by way better people. ALLS GOOD... I call it the anti Chrystler and mounted the pentastar upside down.
Been a good week, was able to get the front end rebuild kit ordered from Kanter, managed to get the front end pulled off the frame to start the clean up work. Today at the swap meet ran into a guy who has a lot of Plymouth parts, picked up some interior chrome trim pieces and the rear fender top pieces. Just having a little trouble getting the assembly that holds the A arm to the uprights so they are sitting in some penetrating oil.
Guess a pic of the front end would be nice, hopefully we will have it cleaned and painted by time all the new front end pieces show up.
i have studied this photo shopped pic for hrs. it is the basis for what i want to do to mine! it looks like the front window is stock and the fatness has been taken out of the rear roof skin before being dropped and stretched in the back. looks cool

Just subscribed ,bought a 54 Belvedere last month of the HAMB classifieds and shipping it back to Australia, haven't seen to many threads on this model and keen to see what can be done.
Hey COOL another Mopar thread, i will keep an eye on this one too. Thanks and good luck with the build. Did i mention that a Mopar loves having a Mopar power plant before hahahahha. great start.
What's that, is a chop scheduled already? And the 727 has been located to mate up to the 318 Poly power plant...
Steve I have debated on trying to find the 55 Australian grille for my car. Send me some pictures of yours when you get it

They made ranchero style "Utes" over here with all of the chrysler products in 54, i've got a dodge kingsway crusader version and a mate dave is building a chopped 2dr out of his 4dr plymouth. We dig em over here in oz. They have a pretty good following.
Pops and I managed to get the new springs, lowered uprights and the new brake brackets installed, will have a picture shortly of the new rotors on the car.
The scarebird kit we used quite a few differant cars to get to this point 77-89 Dodge Diplomat rotors 70-74 Dodge Challenger calipers 73-75 Dodge Charger pads 77-89 Dodge Diplomat inner bearing 70-74 Dodge Challenger outer bearing
Havent installed the calipers so my buddy Jason and I could get the body back on the frame so we could get the chop started
