I been looking around the net and can't find no info that explains how to decode a vin on a 1954 mercury sunliner. Any help can be appreciated.

post the info on the tag, or a picture of the tag, and one of us with a book will decode it for you. Much easier than scanning a whole book.

Real glasstops have 64B on the VIN tag, not 64A. If you’re buying one of these you need to check that out as the plexi tops can be bought and retrofitted. It’s the difference between a 20K car and a 70K car.

60B is a steel top.. He says he has a Sunliner but the title thread says Sun Valley, which was the glass top.... somethings not right.
