My 51 Merc is close to being drivable it has a late 1954 Chrysler 331 Hemi in it. The problem I have is no seems to make a mechanical fuel, really dont want go electric. I might if I have to. Has anyone used the Hot Heads adapter that adapts a 318 fuel pump ? Are there any cross references/ part numbers of any other fuel pumps? My friend said Edlebrock might have one I can't seem to find it.[IMG]Thanks in advance.[IMG]

Yes, I used the Hot Heads adapter and bought their 318 pump. Works perfect. '52 331 in my '33 Plymouth coupe.

If you have a drill press and a band saw make your own. LA fuel pumps are available everywhere.
I've even seen guys make them from plywood......,

there's been problems with the OEM F/Ps for years. The adaptor & LA is the way to go.

I got the adapter and fuel pump from Hot Heads and it pushed the fuel pump out to far and hit my Hurst C202 motor mounts. I ended up going with an electric one.
