I have the 1954 Ford Drag Car built and raced, by Ted Wells in California, from about 1969 to 1974. The Car was painted white and ran the Burbank Ford door logo or the Canyon Ford logo.From the articles here on the HAMB, 332-428 Engine Forum and NHRA.com, this car ran a destroked 427 Ford and a toploader 4 speed. This car was a feature car in an old Television show called "Adam 12". The episode is available to watch on HULU and possibly others. The episode name is "Who Won". Please read the articles and check out the show!! Ted worked for Valley Head Service and drove the car on the show. The car has a 9 inch Ford rear, no center section, original hoop roll bar and pad and the seat. It has the original fiberglass frontend built by Mr. Wells. I have the grill bars also.
