I save this car from a recycling center down the street, bought it off the scale. My father wants to make it a gasser for the South East gassers. Not a points runner but something to play with. Right now I'm gonna start stripping her down and get her blasted to see what's left and start gathering parts. We plan on running a big block chevy we currently have a 402 in need of building but was thinking on buying a 496 ready to go. Have old 2 piece edelbrock tunnel ram 2 4bbl We also have many Saginaw 4 speeds different ratios. What's are some good ratios to run in the rear? Are the speedway straight axle kits legal? Can I run the grey Holley carbs or has to be the gold? Any info is awesome I just couldn't let her die Sent from my VS996 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Yes, good save. Seems to be more solid than the '60 next to it. BBC & 4 speed! Lots of torque, 4:56 track gears may let the Saginaw hold together.
I bought the 60 for the 348 it's ruff but has a few good parts 4.56 was what I was thinking oddly enough my father said he's exploded more muncie than saginaws The car mainly needs floors in front and rockers Sent from my VS996 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Does this site have a forum or is it just posted rules? I registered for community but I can't find a community The menu letters are white and disappear into the page background I have some questions about what's legal and what's not Sent from my VS996 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
